We are sorry to announce that due to declining membership, we had to make the difficult decision to discontinue classes and allow the Ocean County Library to use our reserved time for other groups who could fill the room.

We did our best to keep the classes interesting and informative and hope those who came were able to learn something from each session. If there is enough interest and we can get some volunteers to help lead classes, we may startup again in the fall. Until then, if you have any computer issues you need help with, please feel free to contact the instructors using the links at the bottom of this page.

Although trojans, viruses and spyware are certainly a serious concern there are many
hoaxes that fill the internet with scary stories of viruses that can wipe out your computer. If you get a pop up window when visiting a site ot forum warning you that you have a bug, worm, or virus, and they are offering to "clean" or "fix" it for you, DO NOT CLICK on the OK or Clean button! Also remember to never, ever open an attachment on any email unless it is from a trusted source and you are expecting it! Please get into the habit of verifying these hoaxes when you get emails before sending them out to your friends and families. And please remember,
Before you panic, check with 'Snopes' or 'Truth or Fiction'.
